| Real-World Design Methods for Project Managers and Software Developers |
| Learn practical ways to architect and design projects, even when your organization has no formal systems approach. This seminar walks you through the process of building a complete application. You'll discover why finding the wrong answers quickly is important, and you'll learn how to separate them from the right answers.
You'll learn about a technique for designing a user interface that you can code right -- the first time. No more endless development iterations. You'll also learn how to build an application for a group of business users -- even when they have conflicting ideas about what the application should do, how it should look, what it should cost, and when it should be delivered.
You'll gain an understanding and practical experience with a variety of effective analysis, architecture and design methods. As a real-world example, you'll find out how to create a complete user interface specification in just a few hours.
You'll take home a course workbook containing all of the presentation materials and a template for creating a specification using these methods. You and your team will contribute to the specification through practical exercises during the workshop. |
